What should I expect during the first appointment?The initial consult is 60–75 minutes. We’ll review your health history, current habits, and goals, then create a tailored plan with realistic next steps.

How do I book my first session?Click “Book a Consultation” on our website to schedule an initial appointment. You’ll receive a confirmation and intake form to complete before the session. You can also call or email for available dates and times.

Can I message Allison between sessions?Yes. All clients have access to secure messaging for support, questions, and updates between scheduled visits.

Do you offer virtual consultations?Yes. All of our services are available via secure video sessions, making it easy to work with clients anywhere in Illinois.

What types of clients does North Shore Nutrition work with?We work with individuals and families seeking personalized nutrition support. Our specialties include cognitive health (MIND diet), anti-inflammatory nutrition for midlife women, family wellness, and baby/child feeding strategies.

What’s the difference between one-on-one coaching and a group program?One-on-one coaching provides a personalized plan based on your goals, health history, and lifestyle. Group programs offer structured support in a shared format and are great for accountability and education.

Do you accept health insurance?In process, we are working on getting credentialed with several major insurance providers in Illinois. We also offer self-pay options and can provide superbills for out-of-network reimbursement.

What forms of payment do you accept?We accept all major credit cards and HSA/FSA payments. Payments are processed securely through our online platform.

Can you bill Medicare or Medicaid?We accept Medicare for covered diagnoses such as diabetes and kidney disease. We do not currently accept Medicaid but offer affordable options for uninsured clients.
